This is such a difficult time for me. I have lost the only person that I loved, I am alone here in Chile trying to sell these properties and repair my life. I miss the support I once had from you. I have come over these past months since December to believe in Christianity. I find there is a deep underling truth within the kindness in the words of the new testament as well as a historical context within the old testament. This made me go to the Church that occupies my old bar and I found in them a genuine effort to this kindness. I began with simply thinking that I could benefit them, through my own difficulties. Now that the shop is closed I thought that I could give them this house as a lease or purchase and that would fill many of my objectives. My primary objective at this time is to settle our money problems and at the same time do some kindness or good with the work I do. The plan is to put into storage all the tailoring things, give the pastor an apartment downstairs ... set up with the naval guy Freddy a real estate office for the sale of Los Choros and come home as soon as possible. This all began with me going to the church and finding out who and what they were about. One of the members Carlos began coming over to my house and discussing my plans to let the Church take charge of this house and the sale of Los Choros. Carlos is an ex catholic priest that went to seminary and just prior to taking his vows resigned because he found that the priest hood were a bunch of pedophiles. The Church had a meeting with me where, they all came over to see the house and listen to my proposal. My proposal was that they could have the house for three years, and in exchange they would care for the house, finish building onto the back were I had started and then they would sell the land in Los Choros. This would permit me to leave Chile, come home and get a job other work and restart our life there. Several of the Church members refused to participate in a business transaction as a Church. I agree with their point of view that a Church should not be a business. The pastor and the naval officer Freddy, and Carlos decided that they would participate independently of the Church in this project nonetheless. A little over a week ago Carlos was attacked and mugged. After that he stopped coming by. Yesterday someone placed the note I have attached under the Church door. It scanned only the text but it is a full piece of letter size paper printed with a decent printer. "To the other one we have already gave him what he needed, (meaning Carlos) and it appears like he has gone away, now it's the other ones turn that acts as his protector (the naval officer), now we know many things about him so if he does not leave the side of Claudio he will go the same way. But so that you will learn we will give even more to Claudio, we take care of him in our own way, and this is not told. We do of this of our cult to our God, and he is not like yours and Claudio knows this very well, and now its too late to get out of this. When agreements are made they are kept. Let this be clear to you." So your money problems may soon come to an end... apparently me too. Don't forget these properties here in Chile are in your name too since we are married here with joint assets. The congregation is doing a lot of prayer. Is this not the strangest thing you have heard of ... I don't know any one here... The possible culprit is a man that wanted this house for a restaurant but wanted me to invest, I told him I was planning to give the house to the Church. He came to me as a man speaking to me of Christ, but I had met him in a bar and he was a bit strange, he also has a connection with the men that attacked me when we lived here. So as you see things are difficult, the pastor and the naval officer still want to continue with our work they are even energized by this, they see this in a very spiritual way. Although I do have a recent and true belief in God, I an not that much of a believer that there could be so much spiritual involvement so its just all very strange to me. I for to love you
